Coolio, a late 90’s rapper better known for wacky his hair styles, has come out with a cookbook, Cooking with Coolio: 5 Star Meals at a One Star Price.   It covers his creation of the latest food trend - Ghetto Gourmet.  Based on his videos of cooking demos, it has recipes for Blasian (black Asian) or Ghettalian (ghetto Italian).  Coolio is all about fusion cuisine.

Some of the recipes include:

  • Soul Rolls
  • Chicken Lettuce Blunts
  • Swashbucklin’ Shrimp
The videos are hilariously and while I have yet to see the cookbook , I’m sure it’s just as funny.  So yacht chefs, who thinks they’ll be adding this trend to their repertoire?
