About The Captain’s Concierge

The Captain’s Concierge is the leader in provisioning and services for yachts in New England.  We work with crew to provide everything they want when they want it.  From trained day workers to logistics facilitation to quality ingredients, our services fulfill the requirements of mega-yachts.  Based at the Newport Shipyard, our experience and local knowledge ensures service that is convenient and efficient.

By provisioning with The Captain’s Concierge, yacht chefs have access to the largest selection of food products in New England.  The Captain’s Concierge is a trusted source for produce, meat, seafood, cheese, dry goods, beverages, specialty and gourmet items ranging from basics to exotics.   Our global network of suppliers provides chefs with many choices that meet their specifications for quality, budget and cuisine.  Each custom order is filled using the highest quality purveyors to ensure timely delivery under the strictest safety procedures. Specialty diets are easily accommodated including gluten-free, kosher and organic.

The Farm to Yacht program provides sourcing from local growers and is exclusive to The Captain’s Concierge.  The summer cruising season coincides with the New England growing season and creates the opportunity for regional sourcing of flavorful vegetables, fruit, herbs and specialty items.  Additionally there are seafood, cheese, dairy, eggs, and meats available.  The Captain’s Concierge connects directly with small growers who follow responsible & sustainable practices to bring fresh, delicious products to yacht chefs. 

The Captain’s Concierge acts as extra shore-side crew to assist the onboard crew.  Our extensive network of local contacts enables us to handle any request efficiently.  The most popular services are the trained day-workers, flowers - fresh & arrangements, laundry including dry cleaning and pressing, propane refills, transportation via air, ground & water and management of marine services.  At the Captain’s Concierge, we serve the crew.

In 2002, we started by providing local knowledge to friends and have grown by word of mouth. Now entering our 4th season based at the Newport Shipyard in the heart of New England yachting.  We continue to grow with the range of services and the depth of provisioning choices always expanding.  In Newport, more yachts use The Captain’s Concierge for provisioning & yacht services.
